I’m starting a photo series that I decided to name “Beautiful Maniaks”. I’m not too sure what it is about yet, but I think it’s about people owning their individuality and expressing it through their fashion and their lifestyle, and about how brave, beautiful and liberating that is. I’m just going to start documenting people and I’ll let them tell me what the series is about. First one is the painfully rad China. She kindly let me come shoot at her place and she gave me wine, threw knives and played me music. She pulled me into her world and allowed me take some of my favorite photos I’ve done in a while. For a girl born and raised in Venezuela who left her country in search for bass, this feels pretty awesome.
